METALpro offers a variety of Brake Die Sets based on bending style, degree of bend, and material thickness. A brake will need an upper punch and lower die to complete a bend. For the best results match the material thickness with brake die set. For example, when bending 1/4″ material, match with a 1/4″ brake die set . Always bend material in the center of the brake.

METALpro offers brake sets in a variety of lengths. Lengths start at 4” and increase by 1” increments. All Brake Die Sets are rated for mild steel. METALpro offers custom Brake Die Sets. Call or email in and ask about our custom die sets.

150 x Material Thickness(Mild Steel) = Tonnage Required for 12” of Material Length
